I help senior leaders close that gap.
For more than 15 years I've worked at the intersection of digital strategy and real-world implementation — advising boards, C-suites, and transformation leaders across financial services, retail, FMCG, energy, legal, and international development.
Since 2016 I've facilitated AI and digital strategy programmes for MIT Sloan School of Management — reviewing over 10,000 transformation roadmaps from senior leaders across 85+ countries. That exposure to what works, what doesn't, and why, is something very few advisors anywhere in the world can offer.
I also deliver executive education at GIBS Business School and run annual Masterclasses in AI, Data and Technology for the London School of Economics.
You have a transformation to deliver — a strategy to build, a roadmap to design, or an implementation that keeps stalling. I come in at the point where clarity is needed most: translating ambition into a plan that your organisation can actually execute.
Engagements range from focused strategy and roadmap work through to ongoing advisory — embedded with your leadership team for as long as it takes to get traction.
The digital world moves fast. The pressure to lead confidently on AI, data, and transformation is real — and most leaders carry more uncertainty about it than they let on.
This is a private, ongoing advisory relationship. No curriculum, no set agenda. Just a trusted thinking partner with genuine depth — available when you need to think something through, pressure-test a decision, or find your footing in territory that feels unfamiliar.

AI-powered grant sourcing platform for Fondation Botnar — designed and contracted from feasibility through to provider selection
A sample of engagements where strategy translated into measurable change.
Manual counting and quality inspection of finished goods across production lines created bottlenecks and variability. Led the cross-functional delivery team across operations, IT, and specialist AI partners — implementing a computer vision solution for automated inspection and counting, integrated in real time with SAP for inventory management and traceability. Solution designed for repeatable rollout across lines.
The IP department relied on manual, time-intensive processes for patent drafting and prior art search. Working collaboratively with the firm, analysed the drafting workflow, identified automation opportunities, and designed and built a Smart Patent Search Tool — using a custom-trained domain-specific language model and a proprietary results scoring algorithm.
A brief on digital competitiveness led to an unexpected insight — the real opportunity wasn't e-commerce, it was community. Over three years, that insight became a purpose-built community management platform, built from operational evidence across live communities and validated in structured market testing. Led the full strategic arc: concept development, product ownership, venture structuring, founding negotiations, and go-to-market design.
Fondation Botnar's Philanthropic Committee wanted to open grant sourcing globally — but no foundation had successfully solved this problem at scale. The existing process handled 10 unsolicited applications per month. The target was 300. Led the full engagement from feasibility through to provider contracting — benchmarking against MIT Solve and other leading foundations, conducting extensive stakeholder consultations, mapping AI opportunities across the full triaging pipeline, and designing a solution combining NLP, swarm intelligence, crowd-based expert evaluation, and automated pre-screening. Delivered validated design and Terms of Reference to the Philanthropic Committee, managed the provider selection process, and saw the engagement through to contract signature.

Most firms accumulate technology rather than design it. The result is fragmentation that nobody wants to own.
The problem is almost never the technology — it's the change management that didn't happen around it.
What separates firms that successfully transformed from those that stalled? Four real examples, one common thread.
Whether you're ready to move on a transformation, navigating something complex on your own, or simply want to think something through with someone who's seen it before — I'd welcome the call.
Tell me where you are and what you're trying to do. If I can help, we'll figure out what that looks like.
